The Witcher 3: Devs Peg Shortest Playtime At 25 Hours

April 10, 2015 by Ryan Parreno

Clearly, the game isn’t made for speedrunning, but this won’t stop fans from finding a way to make it one.

CD Projekt RED has revealed that they have clocked shortest playtime for The Witcher 3 Wild Hunt at 25 hours.

This assumes you do not listen to any dialogue, and skip every story element, as well as finding as short a route to the end as possible.

Most players probably wouldn’t attempt such a playthrough, as it would take them around 100 hours to play everything within the base game. It is worth noting around 50 hours of that playtime would be made up of the story alone.

Clearly, the game isn’t made for speedrunning, but this won’t stop fans from finding a way to make it one.

The Witcher 3 Wild Hunt will be releasing on May 19 on Windows, PlayStaton 4, and Xbox One.
