Grand Theft Auto 6 Fans Believe New Rockstar Games Job Listing Offers Clues To Game

October 20, 2021 by Dennis Patrick

No official statement has been made yet.

Grand Theft Auto 6 is on a ton of players’ minds. There is a nonstop flood of rumors, speculation, and supposed leaks showing up online. However, we can’t label these as official until the actual announcement comes from Rockstar Games. With that said, a new job listing for Rockstar Games has popped up online that has fans thinking it offers clues to what the game installment might include.

It looks like Rockstar Games is seeking a VFX artist to work on their projects. Now naturally, this doesn’t indicate that the project will be Grand Theft Auto 6, but some fans are making assumptions that it could be the game. If not, it does provide some details that could pop up for the actual video game when it launches. In the job description, the VFX artist would be responsible for working on different aspects of the game’s immersion. That person will help bring out different details to give players a sense of a living world.

For example, the description makes mention of buildings crashing down or rainfall running down from a building. These small little details are what help some video games bring out some incredible immersive experiences. Likewise, fans are thinking that these little details could pop up in Grand Theft Auto 6. It wouldn’t be a shocker. After all, coming from Red Dead Redemption 2, the developers are cranking out some pretty incredible details in their open-world video game experiences.

We might also get a bit more insight into what Grand Theft Auto 6 could contain soon. Although, right now, the focus seems to be the ports for Grand Theft Auto V on the PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X/S platforms. Likewise, we know that there is a remastered collection coming for Grand Theft Auto 3, Vice City, and San Andreas. But, unfortunately, we haven’t seen the gameplay footage for those games quite yet.
