Dragon Quest Heroes 2 Announced

April 2, 2015 by Jacob Saylor

The title is headed to PS3, PS4 and PS Vita.

Square Enix has been quite busy as of late. They're currently working on multiple titles, including major franchise installments such as Final Fantasy XV and Kingdom Hearts 3. Yesterday, the company put up a promotional website for a new title: Dragon Quest Heroes 2. This, obviously a sequel to Dragon Quest Heroes, will be arriving on Playstation 3, Playstation 4 and Playstation Vita. There's no release date currently available for the game, though one is expected soon.

The promotional website was previously locked under a splash page that featured a slime-popping mini-game. Once the number of slimes popped by users reached 10,000,000, the page unlocked.

The production staff for the game is as follows, according to source Game Play Dirty:

  • General Director: Yuji Horii
  • Character Design: Akira Toriyama
  • Music: Koichi Sugiyama
  • Developer: Omega Force (Koei Tecmo)
  • Publisher: Square Enix
