The Division New Gameplay/ Story Details: Faction Cleaners & New Release Date Rumoured

March 27, 2015 by Ryan Parreno

The Cleaners may switch alliances with or against you throughout the events of the game.

YouTuber SuperRebel has shared new details about Tom Clancy’s The Division. You can subscribe to his channel on YouTube here.

The official site shared new pics of the Cleaners, whom we have received a description before. As you already know, the Cleaners are all covered up and equipped with incendiary equipment. Operating outside the confines of the law, they intend purely to incinerate all trace of the virus. They may switch alliances with or against you throughout the events of the game.

Speaking of the game’s story, alpha testers are claiming in spite of the game’s heavy emphasis on online play, it is being designed in such a way that you will be able to enjoy the game and play it in any way you want to. What this means is if you only want to play the single player and never play a second of online, you will still have fun with the game. This still seems like a reasonable arrangement in 2015, where there is a lot of talk of games switching to a delivery model, but not all consumers have the tech – or for that matter, the online bandwidth – ready to transition yet.

Lastly, word on the street is that we will learn of a new release date for the game on E3. If they’re waiting that long, of course, Ubisoft may be planning to release the game this holiday 2015.

Tom Clancy’s The Division will be released on 2015 on Windows, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One.
