Microsoft In Talks to Buy EA?

We’re used to hearing a story about EA looking to buy some company out, but today it is EA who is at the receiving end of a similar story. There is a rumor going around in the share trading market about a possible takeover of Electronic Arts by Microsoft, which has led to an increase in the share price of both companies.

EA, has been hit with some bad financial news lately, is yet to respond to this ‘unsubstantiated news’ as quoted by Frederic Ruffy, options strategist at WhatsTrading.com, he said “There’s talk that Microsoft might be interested in acquiring Electronic Arts. It’s unsubstantiated chatter, but it’s out there.”
