Fortnite Adds The Walking Dead Rick Grimes Skin

October 11, 2021 by Dennis Patrick

Another character from The Walking Dead franchise makes a return.

The Walking Dead is a popular franchise, so it wasn’t much of a surprise to see it featured on Fortnite. Fortnite constantly sees new crossovers from television series, movies, musicians, athletes, and other video game characters. The Walking Dead was featured in the past, which came with Daryl and Michonne skins. However, it wasn’t long ago that we started to see hints that Rick Grimes, one of the leading protagonists from the franchise, was going to be popping up in Fortnite too.

We’re in the spooky season of the year. October is full of horror movies, shows, and video games. As a result, Fortnite was going to showcase different horror characters in their Fortnitemares. Included is Rick Grimes, which you can pick up as a standalone skin. This skin will be featured for players at 1,500 V-Bucks. That will give players a total of three characters from The Walking Dead. However, you’ll have to fetch over a bit more V-Bucks if you want to enjoy some of the side content Rick Grimes will come bearing.

For 1,900 V-Bucks, players will also get a Rick Grimes duffle bag, a crashed satellite glider, and a custom pickaxe. However, it also looks like there is the three-character pack for The Walking Dead. If you want all the characters, including Rick Grimes, Daryl, and Michonne, then you’ll be able to pick them up through Survivor In-Arms Bundle. This will put players back a total of 2,500 V-Bucks. But it might just be worth it if you’re a big fan of The Walking Dead.

As mentioned, Fortnite is going through the Fortnitemares event. From now going all the way to November 1, 2021, we’ll see content featured for players to enjoy. Everything from skins, characters, and maps will be available to celebrate the Halloween season. Fortunately, Fortnite is available on just about every platform outside of iOS due to the legal back and forth between Epic Games and Apple.
