Hearthstone: Blackrock Mountain Announced at PAX East

March 6, 2015 by Ian Miles Cheong

A new Hearthstone Adventure awaits players of the game.

Hearthstone players will soon have their worlds rocked with the release of a new Hearthstone Adventure that takes them deep into the heart of darkness: Blackrock Mountain.

It features elementals, dwarves, and dragons.

Like the first Hearthstone Adventure, which took place in the flying fortress of Naxxramas, players will do battle against the champions and single-player bosses of Blackrock Mountain. Each boss has a unique card at their disposal and is guaranteed to challenge even the most seasoned veteran of the game, or so Blizzard says.

Blackrock Mountain is made up of a total of five unique wings, with each being a unique experience to one of the five iconic zones found within it.

In total, players can earn up to 31 new cards by defeating the challenges within.

All five wings will cost $24.99 altogether. Individual wings can be purchased for $6.99 or 700 gold separately. Pre-orders open March 19, and anyone who grabs the game ahead of release will get a unique cardback. Neat!
