Infinite Crisis Brings DC Heroes and Villains Into the MOBA Genre

March 6, 2015 by Ian Miles Cheong

A new title from DC Entertainment brings the characters of the DC Comics Multiverse into the MOBA genre.

Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment, publisher of such greats like the Batman Arkham series, has teamed up with DC Entertainment today to announce Infinite Crisis, a new entry into the wildly popular MOBA genre. The game is set to officially launch at the end of this month, on March 26, through Steam.

“Infinite Crisis has massively evolved over the past year with the help of the millions of players who participated in our Open Beta,” said Jeffrey Steefel, Executive Producer. “We have designed, updated, and tuned almost every facet of the game based on player feedback and we are now ready to officially launch the game on March 26th.”

Infinite Crisis is set to deliver competitive player vs. player battles set in DC Comics' Multiverse, allowing players to take on the roles of what the developer is calling the "deepest roster" of DC heroes and villains ever assembled.

Infinite Crisis puts players in control of twisted incarnations of their favorite characters from throughout the Multiverse such as Nightmare Batman and Gaslight Catwoman, playing in league with such well-known characters such as Green Lantern and The Flash.

Further details can be found at the game's official Steam page.
