Metal Gear Solid 5: The Phantom Pain publisher Konami has announced the release date for the title (we posted about this yesterday) and its Day 1 and Collector's Editions.
As previously noted, the game will be launching on September 1 worldwide for the PlayStation 3, PlayStation 4, Xbox 360 and Xbox One. The game's PC version will be available at a later date–on September 15.
Two special editions will be available for the game, including the Day 1 Edition, available both digitally and at retail, and the Collector's Edition. Here's what's in store:
