Xbox One Bundles See Price Cut in Europe

March 2, 2015 by Jacob Saylor

Xbox One sheds some weight to keep up in the console arms race.

It's no secret that Microsoft's Xbox One console is lagging behind Sony's Playstation 4. The Xbox brand may, for the moment, be ahead of Nintendo and their Wii U, but this success could be shortlived. Nintendo is beginning to pick up speed at a frightening pace, this success spurred by the growth of Amiibo content and more first-party titles. It would appear that Microsoft is lowering the price of some of their current bundles in Europe as to keep up in the veritable arms race.

The white Xbox One bundle that comes packaged with Sunset Overdrive has had £70 sliced off its MSRP, lowering it to just £279.99. The Assassin's Creed bundle, which came with an Xbox One and the two latest games in the series, had £100 shaved off its top. This bundle now costs gamers only £299, down from £399.

By purchasing this bundle from the Microsoft Store, you can save an additional £20 by way of gift voucher. This will help to remove shipping costs.
