If you're familiar with Kingdom Hearts and the lore surrounding it, then you'll know that Ventus – otherwise known as Roxas – is currently stuck inside Sora's heart. Sora's ticker is basically a prison, as it's easy to go in, but a great deal harder to get out.
The Kingdom Hearts 3 plot that has been described for us so far lays out the idea for a 'Key to Return Hearts.' This will likely come in the form of a Keyblade, and there are some interesting theories that are already coming out of the woodwork. Today, we're going to take a quick look at a video created by Youtuber HMK that talks about The Key to Return Hearts.
HMK predicts that The Key to Return Hearts will be a way for Sora to release Ventus from his own heart. He will also be able to use this ability in releasing those trapped in others' hearts, which will add an entirely new gameplay element to Kingdom Hearts 3. Here's to hoping that HMK is right, because we'd love to see such a tool added to the game's canon.
