The Evil Within DLC The Assignment Assigned a Release Date

February 25, 2015 by Stephen Daly

March 10th or 11th if you’re on PlayStation in Europe.

Bethesda has announced the release date for The Evil Within's The Assignment DLC as March 10th on all systems. PlayStation 3 and 4 owners in Europe will need to wait until March 11th however.

The Assignment sees players take on the role of Juli Kidman, the assistant of Detective Castellanos in the main game and will address some fan questions while adding some new ones to the mix.

John Johanas of developer Tango Gameworks has commented, "We definitely leave some of the mysteries open, but I feel we shed a lot of light on the lore of Ruvik, STEM, and the characters while asking (and answering) a whole new set of questions regarding Juli and her mission."

The Assignment is the first of three DLCs included with the game's Season Pass, and can also be acquired separately for $9.99/€9.99/£6.99. A new trailer has been released for the DLC which you can see above, and Bethesda will be streaming the expansion on their Twitch channel on March 9th at 16:00 EST.
