Cities: Skylines Devs Share Their Commitment to Modding

February 25, 2015 by Ian Miles Cheong

The developers believe modding is good for the game.

Paradox Interactive has released a new dev diary of Cities: Skylines and its commitment to modding and letting players do whatever they want within the game.

In the second of three videos in the series, Paradox Interactive's Jakob Munthe joins Colossal Order's Mariina Hallikainen (CEO) and Karoliina Korppoo (Lead Designer) to talk about modding and how their entire game gives players the freedom to do as they like, thanks to powerful and versatile dev tools for players interested in modding.

Thanks to this commitment to modding, players will able to design the city of their dreams, with everything ranging from the terrain to the designs of the buildings themselves. How cool is that?

Cities: Skylines is set for release on March 10 for PC, Mac and Linux.

Check it out below.
