Sony Releases PS4 Firmware 2.04, Download Issues Abound

Sony has released new firmware for the PlayStation 4, bringing the system up to version 2.04. The firm released the update without making a prior announcement.

Multiple users have reported problems downloading the update, which is now available in some regions. Users reported that the PSN service disconnects them as soon as they start the download. This is probably due to a server overload.

Other users have reported errors CE-32937-4 and SU-30709-9 when attempting to install the update. 

Sony is well-informed of the issues and is working to fix them. The company did not release patch notes for the firmware, so it’s hard to say what’s inside. We’ll keep you updated on the firmware as the information becomes available.
