Telltale to Patch Game of Thrones Xbox One Save Bug

February 16, 2015 by Stephen Daly

A patch is coming.

Game of Thrones developer Telltale has announced that they will soon be releasing a patch to fix the save bug issue affecting the episodic game.

On Telltale's forums, a staff member wrote that a patch has been submitted to Microsoft for verification. The issue forced some users to play the second episode – The Lost Lords – with default choices selected, as custom choices did not import successfully from the first episode.

"We have submitted a patch to Microsoft to resolve the issue some customers have experienced where Episode One choices did not carry over into Episode Two," Telltale commented. "We expect the patch to be released in the next 7-10 days and will update this thread as soon as it is available. We really appreciate everyone’s patience and hope to have you playing with your choices very soon."

The Lost Lords is the second of six episodes and Telltale has yet to reveal when the remainder will be available.
