Gameplay Footage and behind the scenes preview of God of War III shown on GTTV a few days ago blew everyone away with gigantic boss battles and breathtaking environments. Gamepro.de has uploaded a new 8 minute gameplay video of God of War III in HD glory worthy to make your eyeballs pop out and make you even more desperate for the highly anticipated March 16 release.
On a sidenote, God of War III director, Stig Asmussen, revealed at a press event held earlier today that the sex scenes which have featured in the previous two games in the series almost didn’t make it to the upcoming game.
Asmussen said,
It was more a debate between me and several of the story writers, I was like, ‘I’d rather not have it in there at all.’ What is the point? If we do it, it has to have a point. It became one of these things where we’re damned if we do, and we’re damned if we don’t.
We make it more than it’s been in the past, but we also give it more of a purpose, It’s not just you going in there, finding some corner and having sex with somebody. It’s something that guides you through the story. You get information and more than just a fluff moment.
God of War III is scheduled to release on March 16 in North America(US, Canada) and March 19 in Europe.
