Let the Hunt Begin: Evolve’s Launch Trailer Released by Turtle Rock

February 10, 2015 by Stephen Daly

The game launches today, along with a bevy of DLC.

Developer Turtle Rock and publisher 2K Games have released the launch trailer for 4-vs-1 co-op shooter Evolve.

The video goes through some of the awards the game has already recieved and is partly CGI but for the most part, it's gameplay. Turtle Rock's shooter has been criticised for its wide-ranging DLC, which some argue lessen the value of the core game as they are needed to get the most out of the experience. However, both Turtle Rock and 2K have defended their approach, with Take Two – 2K's parent company – CEO Strauss Zelnick commenting that controversy "is a good thing."

We don't have a review of Evolve yet, but you can check out some of our suggestions for what Turtle Rock can do to improve the game.

Evolve releases today for PC, PS4, and Xbox One and you can find the unlock time for your system and region here.
