Dragon Ball Xenoverse Season Pass Revealed, New Commercial Shows Off Playable Characters

February 9, 2015 by Ryan Parreno

At this point, it should be safe to say that everything is up for grabs and anyone can turn against you.

Bandai Namco has revealed the Dragon Ball Xenoverse Season Pass.

The description for the season pass indicates what Bandai Namco plans to sell as future DLC. Not only will there be more playable characters, but new episodes, quests, masters and master quests, stages, sz-souls, skills, costumes and accessories.

The preview pictures on the season pass page have linked some of the characters and stages early on.

For your convenience, these are some of the characters that Bandai Namco have already previewed:

·         Resurrected Young Son Goku (Dragon Ball GT)

·         Pan (Dragon Ball Z, GT)

·         Future Trunks (Dragon Ball Z)

·         Launch (Dragon Ball, Dragon Ball Z)

·         Golden Great Ape Baby (Dragon Ball Z)

·         Super 17 (Dragon Ball Z)

Of course, the game’s plot involves antagonist Towa messing with the fabric of time, creating splits and anomalies in the timeline. Among other things, some allies will turn against you, thanks to the help of a mysterious man. Other changes include Nappa getting the opportunity to evolve into a Giant Ape, and Vegeta joining the Ginyu Forces. This poster outs Vegeta, Son Gohan, Piccolo, and even Mr Satan with the evil eyes. At this point, it should be safe to say that everything is up for grabs and anyone can turn against you.

You can check out the game’s latest trailer showing off what races and factions you can play as above. Dragon Ball Xenoverse will ship for the PlayStation 4, PlayStation 3, Xbox One, and Xbox 360 in the United States on February 24 and in Europe on February 27. It will also debut on PC via Steam on February 27.
