Victor Vran is a New Supernatural Action RPG

February 7, 2015 by Ian Miles Cheong

Action RPG fans have an all new game to play.

Haemimont Games, the makers of the strategy/management simulation series Tropico (and its sequels) has announced development of an all new supernatural action RPG called Victor Vran.

The game is being developed in the vein of Diablo 3, aiming to “bring a fresh perspective to the genre” through unique weapons, powers, special moves, and the ability to jump—by which they mean “jump at any time” and not “jump with the Barbarian’s leap attack.”

The trailer above showcases exactly how this new jumping mechanic will come into play in the isometric camera setting of the game.

Much like Diablo 3, the game is being developed for four-player co-op in mind, offering a vast array of weapons, outfits, demonic powers, and a system of “fate cards” that amplify characters’ existing powers.

The game is set to launch on Steam as an Early Access title, and will see a full release this coming May. Further details can be found at the official website, victorvran.com.
