Microsoft Details the Xbox One’s First Major Update of 2015

February 6, 2015 by Stephen Daly

Faster syncing controllers and Game Hubs are the key features this time round.

Microsoft has announced that the first major Xbox One update of 2015 has begun rolling out in a new post on the Xbox Wire.

The update introduces some improvements to the console's wireless controllers, which can be synced more quickly, and you'll be able to access your games slightly faster as well.

A new feature coming as part of the update are Game Hubs, which present information including leaderboards and game clips for a specific game and adds it to a tile – resulting in a cleaner dashboard. You'll also have the option to display transparent tiles, and you can livestream TV through SmartGlass on Android and Windows devices.

Those in the Dashboard Preview Program already have the update, while everyone else will get it today. You can find the full update list on the Wire.
