Halo Infinite Will Have Two Flights This Month

Halo is an iconic Xbox exclusive franchise. We have seen several installments release over the years across the PC and Xbox consoles. However, fans are looking towards the next extensive installment for the franchise, Halo Infinite. This video game installment was slated to release in 2020, but developers had pushed the game back after their failure to capture fan’s interest in a gameplay trailer. This has allowed the studio to tweak the game a bit more before it’s ready for a marketplace launch. With that said, fans have been able to try the multiplayer component out already.

Flights have been a hot topic for Halo Infinite. If you’re unfamiliar with the term, flights are essentially beta tests. We only had one flight so far with the game, and that’s going to change here this month. Now there are two flights scheduled. Players knew that the first flight was set to take place this weekend, September 24, 2021. 343 Industries encouraged players to make a Halo Insiders account so that they could participate in the beta. Now we know that the next flight will be featured in the upcoming weekend.

Announced through the Halo Waypoint blog, 343 Industries lists out the flight details. For those of you who had made an account before September 13, 2021, you’ll be able to take part in the flight this weekend. This will feature arena battles, and it’s going to be broken up between periods each day.

Friday, September 24 @ 10am-2pm & 5pm-9pm PT: Matchmaking available
Saturday, September 25 @ 10am-2pm & 5pm-9pm PT: Matchmaking available
Sunday, September 26 @ 10am-2pm & 5pm-9pm PT: Matchmaking available
Monday, September 27 @ 10am PT: Flight access closes until Weekend 2

Meanwhile, players can still make a Halo Insiders account and check out the second-weekend flight, which takes place on October 1, 2021. Again, this will bring out Big Team Battle and Arena battles. Much like the first-weekend flight, the game flight will be broken up between period each day.
