Theatrhythm Final Fantasy: Curtain Call continues to stretch outside the boundaries of the Final Fantasy franchise in order to pull in songs for its DLC shop. The hot new items on the menu are "Twister" and "Calling" from The World Ends With You.
For those who missed that boat, TWEWY was a critically aclaimed RPG for DLC featuring character designs by Kingdom Hearts director Tetsuya Nomura. What attracted many players to it was its unusual combat system, in which you pressed buttons to direct a character on the top screen while using touch commands to direct a character on the bottom.
Also in the lineup are a couple of tracks, "World Revolution" and "Wind Scene," from the beloved Chrono Trigger. The Japan-exclusive Romancing SaGa 3 gets some recognition with "The Last Battle," and "Liberi Fatali" from Final Fantasy VIII finally joins the song library, having been curiously omitted from the base game.
These tracks haven't been announced for the West yet, but it's likely that they'll arrive tomorrow as was promised during the last DLC update. When they arrive, each song will be 99 cents.
