New 3DS is a teensy bit more powerful than old 3DS, which means there might be a game or two exclusive to the upgraded hardware. One such game is Xenoblade Chronicles 3D, a port of the Wii RPG by Monolith Soft. We first learned about it alongside New 3DS' original announcement, and now we have information regarding its North American arrival.
Since Monolith Soft is busy working on Xenoblade Chronicles X, which is looking pretty lovely in today's new trailer, porting duties have been handed off to Monster Games, which most recently brought Retro's Donkey Kong Country Returns to 3DS. During the transition, Monster has tweaked some things, such as moving the HUD elements to the touch screen and adding a 3D model viewer.
Xenoblade Chronicles 3D will arrive for New 3DS in April.
