Last month, online import shop Play-Asia spilled the beans on a North American localization of Etrian Mystery Dungeon, a crossover between Atlus' Etrian Odyssey and Spike Cunsoft's Mystery Dungeon series. With the cat out of the bag, Atlus confirmed the leak and promised a release this year.
During today's Nintendo Direct, we got a look at the first English trailer for the game. As we've discussed before, this adventure combines the party customization of Etrian with the random dungeon generation of Mystery Dungeon. The release window is still a nebulous Spring 2015, however.
There still remain two other Etrian Odyssey games in need of localization confirmation: Etrian Odyssey V and Etrian Odyssey Untold 2: The Knight of Fafnir. All Etrian titles have come stateside, so it's simply a matter of "when," not "if."
