The ever-pervasive World of Warcraft got its latest expansion at the end of last year. Fans have been clamoring, saying that it's one of the best additions to the game so far. Blizzard Entertainment, developer of the game, has stated that it may very well be the last expansion for World of Warcraft. We're finding that a bit hard to believe, given the game's enormous popularity. That said, maybe the company wants to focus on something new.
An upcoming patch – 6.1 to be exact – will be making its way to the Public Test Realms soon. With this patch come a number of game-changing additions to Warlords of Draenor. There are some new legendary quests to challenge, as well as some updates to the game's Garrison feature:
- Garrisons
- Garrison Scout Reportwill give you a new mission.
- Mission Completion Orderswill instantly complete a mission
- Items were added to instantly complete 5 work orders, such as Rush Order: Lumber Mill
- You can reroll traits and abilities with Follower Trait Retraining and Follower Ability Retraining
- Tome of Knowledgewill give a follower some XP
- New Blackrock Foundry Spoils have been added
- Archaeology missions have been added
- Pepe now has his own achievement: What A Strange, Interdimensional Trip It's Been
- Followers earn experience for completing work orders
- The garrison is getting a jukebox
- You can now summon 10 – 40 player bosses in your garrison
- Harrison Jones will be a follower, rewarded from doing Relic Hunter Quests
- Garrison invasions now go to Platinum rating, up from Gold
