Destiny Faction Weapon, Shader, And Ship Guide

This is a guide to all the faction specific weapons, shaders, and ships in Destiny.

To put it simply, the tower Faction vendors do not sell everything available in their respective faction. To get those items, you need to rank up a Faction, starting at level 3. Once you do rank up, you get a Postmaster package which will have some of the Faction specific items. On occasion, you can also get Faction weapons from Rare/Legendary Engrams or as weekly Nightfall rewards.

Some faction specific weapons (marked in the below lists in bold) can technically be acquired at the tower, but with the same perks as other weapons. To get faction specific perks, you need to earn them in the abovementioned ways. Interestingly enough, Future War Cult does not have an Auto Rifle, while Dead Orbit and New Monarchy do not have Pulse Rifles. This makes it so that each faction has 8 weapons each.

Each Faction has four faction specific shaders. You can only acquire them randomly via Postmaster Faction rank-up packages.

o   Carthage 0100

o   Nineveh 8611

o   Tyre 4470

·         New Monarchy

o   Amalthea

o   Cleopatra AK

o   Nefertiti AK

o   Themisto

Finally, each Faction has one confirmed exclusive ship, only available via Postmaster packages. Keep in mind that the game apparently has even more ships, but they haven’t been unlocked yet.
