Dragon Age: Inquisition – Rift Mage Guide

January 8, 2015 by Ian Miles Cheong

This guide will aid you in crowd control with the Rift Mage in Dragon Age: Inquisition.

The Rift Mage is all about controlling the opposition in Dragon Age: Inquisition. Using a host of weakening attack, knockdowns and stuns, party buffs, and AOE attacks, the Rift Mage brings plenty of crowd control abilities to a fight.

With that in mind, KineticGTR has prepared a guide for the Rift Mage using a standard combination of skills from the Inferno, Storm and Winter trees, and new active and passive abilities from the Rift Mage specialization that you’ll get once you arrive at Skyhold.

The build has been put together from a fresh respec, and uses 15-20 points to build a very powerful Rift Mage that has everything it needs to keep enemies in line. The build works for your main character, as well as that of Solas, who is a Rift Mage in specialization.

Check it out below.
