Uncharted 4 Has Multiplayer, Naughty Dog Confirms

January 6, 2015 by Stephen Daly

But the developer is tight-lipped on what to expect.

Naughty Dog has confirmed that Uncharted 4: A Thief's End will feature a multiplayer mode.

The developer revealed the news in Game Informer's February issue, in which Nathan Drake is the cover star. Details of what to expect were withheld, but the fact that A Thief's End will feature online play should be too surprising. Naughty Dog introduced their first ever multiplayer mode in 2009's Uncharted 2: Among Thieves.

Since then, both Uncharted 3: Drake's Deception and The Last of Us have featured multiplayer.

At the PlayStation Experience last month, Sony revealed 15 minutes of Uncharted 4 gameplay and introduced us to Nathan's older brother Sam for the first time.

Uncharted 4 does not have a confirmed release date but it is expected to launch later this year.
