3DS Puzzle Platformer Yumi’s Odd Odyssey Coming to PS Vita

January 6, 2015 by Tony Ponce

Will feature new enemies and levels.

If you are interested in unique puzzle platformers, you should probably check out Yumi's Odd Odyssey on 3DS eShop. Known in Japan as Sayonara Umihara Kawase, it is the first game in the Umihara Kawase series to be localized out West, which makes it a great score for Japanese videogame aficionados. And pretty soon, PS Vita owners will be able to get in on the action!

According to the latest issue of Japan's Famitsu magazine — as relayed to us via Siliconera — Sayonara Umihara Kawase: Chirari will arrive on PS Vita in Japan on April 23. It is an enhanced port with improved graphics and framerate, new enemies and enemy placement, and additional levels atop the 50 in the 3DS version.

There's no word on whether or not Chirari will come to the West, but if Natsume took a chance on the original release, I see no reason why it wouldn't double up on the Vita release.
