GTA 5 Still Coming To PC January 27, Says Rockstar

January 3, 2015 by Ryan Parreno

It’s fair to say that Rockstar, the actual developer, is the overriding authority in this situation.

It certainly didn’t take long. Rockstar has clarified that Grand Theft Auto 5’s release on PC is still slated for January 27.

This followed speculation that the game’s release could be delayed when Valve removed the date from the game’s Steam listing, replacing it with Early 2015. While we still don’t know why the date listing has been changed, it’s fair to say that Rockstar, the actual developer, is the overriding authority in this situation.

Is a delay of the game still possible? Yes, but no more than if there was no indication that any delay was forthcoming.

For PC only gamers, the wait may have been unbearably too long, with essentially two years having passed since the original release, but with the additional content promised since that original release, it should be worthwhile.

Can you wait for the game to release any longer? Don’t hesitate to let us know in the comments below.
