Skullz 2 Is A Modest, Low Risk IndieGogo Which Won’t Take Much To Fund

December 30, 2014 by Ryan Parreno

The game’s dev is coming straight out of college and wants help getting an indie under his belt.

An indie dev has launched a quaint little IndieGogo with a fairly modest goal and end product. Introducing Skullz 2.

Skullz is the work of one Feliks Balzer, an art student from Germany who also goes by the name Pizzamakesgames online. It was his bachelor’s thesis, a browser based adventure game where a short story unfolded across four chapters, with six characters.

Feliks is graduating soon, but rather than jump into finding a job in the industry, he wanted to see if there was enough interest in helping him go it on his own. With this in mind, he is looking for a mere 500 euros, which will mainly cover his rent and expenses, so he can focus on finishing and polishing the game.

And that’s literally it. Subsequently, the funding goal is modest at 500 euros, and so are stretch goals.

Feliks certainly seems capable enough, judging by the original Skullz, which you can play here. He made all of that game, including the story, design, coding and music, which you can also check out in Bandcamp here.

As a small project, the risks on Skullz 2 are very, very low. Feliks has stated he intends to finish the game if funding isn’t complete anyway, but completing funding guarantees a February release. You can help fund Skullz 2 here.
