Sony has announced a special red-and-black PlayStation 4 will be released in Japan on March 19, 2015 alongside action-RPG Final Fantasy Type-0 HD.
Following the system's weekend reveal, pre-orders are open for the custom console in limited quantities. To grab one, fans will need to put down 46,980 yen (about $392) plus tax. For their money they'll also get a matching DualShock 4 and 15 days of PlayStation Plus. Codes for Final Fantasy Type-0 HD, the Episode Duscae demo of Final Fantasy 15, and a unique PS4 theme are included in the package.
Officially titled the "Suzaku Edition" PS4, the console was designed by veteran art director Yusuke Naora, who has worked on Final Fantasy 7, 8, 10, Type-0, and the upcoming 15.
Type-0 HD is set for release in North America on March 17th, 2015 and in Europe on March 20th but there's no word on whether the red PS4 will be released in the West.
