The Witcher 2 and D4 Lead Games with Gold Offers for January

December 22, 2014 by Stephen Daly

MX vs. ATV Alive also available for Xbox 360 owners.

Microsoft has announced their Games with Gold offers for January in an update on the Xbox Wire.

Xbox One owners can avail of the critically acclaimed indie adventure game D4: Dark Dreams Don’t Die (D4 for short), while those with an Xbox 360 can get off-road racer MX vs. ATV Alive, as well as role-playing game The Witcher 2: Assassins of Kings.

As is usually the case, D4 will be available for the entire month, while MX vs. ATV Alive can be nabbed between January 1st and 15th. The Witcher 2 will be available from the 16th to ther 31st. With The Witcher 3 coming out in May of next year, it's as good a chance as any to catch up on the previous game in the series and for free to boot.

Anyone with an Xbox Live Gold account can avail of the offers, though only the Xbox 360 games will remain yours if you allow your subscription to expire – access to the Xbox One games included with Games with Gold is tied to an active account.
