The New Nintendo 3DS holds more secrets than we were originally led to believe. Nintendo is already known for giving rather common apps a fun spin, with the inclusion of mascot characters, catchy music and more, but hiding a game within the machine's Internet Browser? That is next level.
Japanese YouTube MAOH stumbled upon a clone of the Atari hit Breakout that transforms URLs into destructible bricks. To access it, you open the Internet Browser, open a new window, and then tap the first few notes of the Super Mario Bros. theme song on the screen. How did MAOH figure this out? Who knows!
It's a fun little distraction that reminds us that Nintendo goes above and beyond when it comes to presentation. It also reminds us that the New 3DS won't arrive in the US until some unknown day in 2015.
