Konami has announced that the Pro Evolution Soccer series has exceed 70 million copies sold globally.
The publisher said the football video game franchise continues to "uphold strong repeat sales".
The next PES title, Pro Evolution Soccer 2012, is due for a release on September 27th, 2011 in North America. An October 14th launch is scheduled for Europe.
