Telltale’s Game Of Thrones Iron From Ice Trailer Reveals Story

December 2, 2014 by Ryan Parreno

At a time when House Forrester is being menaced, their allies, the Lannisters, are not inclined to give them aid.

The Game Of Thrones latest trailer finally reveals story elements, and Telltale Games has seen it fit to tie up characters from the show with those of their own design.

In brief, the trailer shows Margaery Tyrell making the case to intervene for House Forrester on behalf of her handmaiden, the eldest daughter Mira Forrester. However, Cersei and Tyrion are wary of getting involved, with Cersei expressing doubts of the house’s loyalty (Again, this stems from an earlier skirmish, where Rodrik Forrester proved his worth on the battlefield, making the Lannister soldiers feel threatened.

Here and now, the Bastard of the Dreadfort, Ramsay Bolton, threatens to strike House Forrester, taking his brand of sadism and domination to destroy Ironrath.

As alluded to previously, the returning characters from the HBO series are voiced in this game by their respective original actors. No word for now on whether House Forrester will eventually make an appearance in the show, or in the books for that matter, but here and now, if you want to experience their story, you will have to do so by buying the game.

Telltale’s Game of Thrones episode 1, Iron From Ice, will be available on Windows, Mac, and PlayStation 4 for US today, December 2, on PS4 for Europe, Xbox 360, and Xbox One on December 3, iOS on December 4, and on PlayStation 3 on December 9.
