During Nintendo's semi-annual fiscal meeting in October, CEO Satoru Iwata explained that Wii U and 3DS would both be getting pre-load functions in the near future, with the first title to make use of this functionality being Super Smash Bros. for Wii U. Well, good news! Pre-load for Smash Wii U is now live!
By pre-ordering a digital copy of the game from eShop, select retailers, or the online Nintendo page, you'll be able to download the game within 72 hours of its official launch. On launch day, you'll have to download a tiny update to activate your software, but ideally you'll be able to starting playing within minutes of midnight.
Super Smash Bros. for Wii U will officially arrive November 21.
