Ubisoft has shared a new launch trailer for Assassin’s Creed Unity, hinting towards Arno’s relationship with the French Revolution that surrounds him.
Arno is painfully aware of the struggles of the poor while the rich idle away their time in his time, and conflates his fight as an Assassin with those of the people. However, he is scolded and reminded that he does not get to choose his targets, he does not get to pick his battles. One gets the sense that this becomes a tension that he struggles with from within, while he undertakes dangerous missions in the real world.
The trailer also hints at Arno’s relationship with his fellow Assassins, and how that helps him stay grounded. The trailer ends with one word: Unite.
