No Mass Effect Trilogy News for N7 Day but BioWare Hints They’re Working On It

November 6, 2014 by Stephen Daly

BioWare’s Aaryn Flynn says they’ll share news ‘when’ they have it.

BioWare will not be announcing a Mass Effect Trilogy port for PlayStation 4 or Xbox One on N7 day tomorrow, but the developer will share news of such a collection "when we have it".

Aaryn Flynn, general manager for BioWare Edmonton and Montreal, commented on Twitter:

Looking forward to #N7Day14! Unfortunately we have no news about the Mass Effect Trilogy coming to new consoles. When we do we'll share ASAP

— Aaryn Flynn (@AarynFlynn) November 6, 2014

This is the closest we've come to confirmation that such a collection is indeed in the works for PS4 and Xbox One. Regarding the possibility of bringing Commander Shepard's adventures to the new consoles, Flynn has previously remarked that "We have discussed that internally. If we can put solid plans together we'll share."

N7 Day is an annual celebration of Mass Effect, dated to coincide with Shepard's N7 rank within the Alliance military.

Mass Effect 4 is currently in development for PC, PS4, and Xbox One, but not much is known about the game at this point.
