We already knew that the Duck Hunt dog and his duck pal are a playable duo in the latest Smash, but they were the only newcomers to not have a reveal trailer. The latest Nintendo Direct corrected that injustice. There is no official standalone trailer at the moment, but you can jump to the 19:10 mark in the Direct to catch it yourself. Check it out above!
That wasn't the only Duck Hunt news! Nintendo has confirmed that, at long last, the original Duck Hunt is coming soon to Wii U Virtual Console. To simulate the light gun peripheral, you will need a spare Wii Remote on hand.
Super Smash Bros. for Wii U arrives November 21.
