The press wasn't too kind to the Duke when it was revealed that he, like the Master Chief in Halo, had only two slots for weapons. Gearbox has listened and will be adding an expanded inventory which allows Duke to carry up to four weapons in the single player campaign.
Additionally, Duke Nukem Forever will be getting Valve's Anti-Cheat system on the PC version, push-to-talk voice chat, and the ability to adjust the field of view.
The changes may not save the Duke, but it's an improvement. Kind of like polishing a turd.
