Halo: The Master Chief Collection: Halo 2 Anniversary Trailer Shows Off Extended Cutscenes, Meatier Story

October 30, 2014 by Ryan Parreno

After ten years, 343 Industries is promising a meatier cinematic experience.

Microsoft has shared a new cinematic trailer for Halo 2 Anniversary, which will be part of Halo: The Master Chief Collection.

This trailer promises a more film like experience, with a new batch of cut scenes recreated and extended by Blur Studios. As you can see here, the trailer promises production values at the level of contemporary cinematic games.

The trailer prominently features the Arbiter, Commander Miranda Keyes, and Sergeant Avery Johnson, alongside Master Chief and Cortana. It definitely promises that we will get to see and learn more of these characters with this remaster of the game. If you were invested in the story of Halo, even if you aren't interested in jumping back to online multiplayer, this makes Halo: The Master Chief Collection a potential must buy for you.

Halo: The Master Chief Collection will be released exclusively on Xbox One on November 11.
