The Crew Closed Beta Announced for PS4 and Xbox One

October 29, 2014 by Stephen Daly

The Crew beta will run from November 6th through 10th.

Ubisoft has announced that a closed beta for The Crew will be available on PS4 and Xbox One from November 6th to 10th.

Despite being a 'closed' beta, Ubisoft says it "will be accessible to all", you just need to add your name to the list here, and those who pre-order through the U-Play store will receive guaranteed access. The publisher adds:

"The closed beta will allow players to explore the entire United States and complete challenges in two of the five regions available in the game, the Midwest and East Coast. The Crew offers a truly enormous living, breathing open world with varied and detailed environments, full of activities to explore either alone or with friends – and it’s 100% seamless."

The Crew beta will features PvP lobbies for both the Midwest and East Coast, as well as Street and Dirt, two of the five spec classes. While all PSN and Xbox Live members will be able to join the beta, certain activities will require a Plus or Gold subscription.

It was recently confirmed that The Crew has been delayed until December 2nd, you can check out the game's customisation options in the latest trailer.
