Dragon Age: Inquisition Gameplay Videos Detail Crafting, Customization and Followers

October 28, 2014 by Jacob Saylor

New videos shed more light on the upcoming title.

Dragon Age: Inquisition will look to continue the series' strong tradition of amazing fantasy gameplay. The first entry into the series was arguably the weakest, and from there, the franchise has continued to grow stronger over time. The release of Dragon Age 2 really sparked interest in continued iterations to the franchise and it looks like our cries were heard, as Inquisition is, without a doubt, shaping up to be one of the biggest releases of the console cycle. While the experience will likely be a bit better on PCs, the console crowd is no less excited for the upcoming title, which is currently slated for a November 18, 2014 release. This puts Inquisition in direct competition with Ubisoft's Far Cry 4, but Bioware isn't afraid of a little fight. Considering the number of major releases that are coming up this holiday season, we don't think there'd be any other way for this to go down.

Bioware has produced a couple of videos that detail both the customization and party mechanics of Inquisition. We've provided them below, as they give a really insightful look as to what you can expect from the upcoming fantasy RPG. One thing that really struck us is just how far ahead of its predecessors Inquisition is. The game is absolutely stunning in the graphics department, with gameplay that looks to be completely overhauled to suit a new generation of technology. Inquisition is hopefully one small example of the amazing experiences that will come throughout this console cycle.
