Latest RAGE Video from id Software Introduces the Enemies

July 28, 2011 by Ian Miles Cheong

The newest video from id Software and Bethesda introduces us to the enemies we’ll be facing in the wasteland.

The latest RAGE Behind the Scenes video, titled "The Enemy" focuses on just that—the development of enemies in the rage. The team at id Software talks about the many enemies that the player will encounter in the wasteland, ranging from bandit clans and mutants to high-tech super soldiers of a world gone by.

Quite unlike any other id Software game, the enemies will be split into different factions, who have different motives, and use different skills. Some of them will be acrobatic, lunging from wall to wall, while less dextrous enemies may employ a variety of team-oriented tactics to engage the player. The player will even encounter instances where different factions fight each other.

Rage is slated for an OCtober 4 release on the Xbox 360, PlayStation 3 and PC.
