Yetis and prison breaks and Kyrat! Oh my!
Remember the Yeti easter eggs scattered throughout Battlefield 4 Mutliplayer levels? While BF4 was more subtle in their Yeti use, Far Cry 4 is going all out and including a PvP level where you encounter the white beast. It's just one of the four DLC/expansions in the in the Far Cry 4 Season Pass.
Far Cry 4 takes you to the fictional Himalayan kingdom of Kryat, where you'll have to deal with the self-appointed king Pagan Min. (For those who don't remember, he seemed like a nice guy in the FC4 trailer).
Today Ubisoft has unveiled several details on the extra DLC content contained in addition to the game. Basically there will be five included DLC packs. Four of the five DLCs will go on sale separately for $9.99 a piece, or you can buy the Season Pass for $29.99, savings $10 in the long run. The first Syringe DLC will be exclusive to Season Pass holders.
The Season Pass Includes:
- The Syringe – Exclusively for Season Pass holders and available on day one. Players have a mission to keep a rare and potent recipe from falling into the hands of Pagan Min’s forces. Single-player and co-op mission.
- Escape from Durgesh Prison – Ajay and Hurk have been rounded up and tortured in Yuma’s prison. On your own or with a friend, escape and survive the hostile lands of Pagan Min’s Kyrat.
- Hurk Deluxe Pack – Five missions, including Yak Farm, Blood Ruby and the Hurk’s Redemption missions are available, along with an arsenal of new weapons including “The Impaler” Hurk’s harpoon gun.
- Overrun – Team up as Rakshasa or Golden Path in this PvP mode and control a series of neutral locations across Kyrat’s countryside to protect them from being overrun by your opponents.
- Valley of the Yetis – Get…outta… town. Your helicopter has crashed on an unforgiving Himalayan ridge. What's in the vicinity? A dangerous cult, dark caves, and yetis. Sweet. Single player and co-op.
Far Cry 4 launches next month, November 18th. The Season Pass is available for sale now at Uplay for $29.99. If you're looking for pre-order deals on Far Cry 4, as of writing, all available deals on Far Cry 4 can be found here at Dealzon.

- If you're in the US, the only deal available is via GameStop with pre-order coupon code PCD15PR, which make the standard edition $50.99, or the Gold Edition $76.49
- For those in the UK/EU, you get a bit more of a discount in terms of percentage, with 20% coupon available – making the title £37.50 / €45 in the UK/EU respectively
