Final Fantasy 14 patch 2.4 comes with a new batch of scenarios and content. You join the Crystal Braves in investigating a plot that threatens Eorzea anew in Dreams of Ice.
The Crystal Braves is a new company founded by Alphinaud Leveilleur after the events of Defenders of Eorzea, to protect the land from future threats. One new such threat emerges in Shiva, Lady of Frost. Mystery seems to revolve around who summoned her and why.
However, the prevailing threat of Bahamut is also present, and seems poised to come to an end. Alphinaud’s sister Alisae asks your help to enter the Final Coil of Bahamut, and discover the truth behind the Calamity so that Alisae too can get the closure her brother seems to have attained on his own.
For the side quests, you can opt to enter the Coliseum to face off against franchise mainstays Ultros and Typhon, as part of Hildibrand’s latest investigation for the master thief.
Also added are new classes, the rough and agile Rogue, and the stealthy Ninja.
