Ubisoft has announced via twitter that its upcoming game, Driver San Francisco will use the company's controversial always-on DRM which requires the player to have a constant internet connection to play the game. Ubisoft has received a lot of flak from PC gamers for its controversial DRM, but it seems that Ubisoft is not willing to budge.
To add insult to injury Ubisoft later tweeted that "the PC versions is being released simultaneously to consoles," as if that is a consolation? The sandbox-style action driving game releases August 30, 2011 on the Xbox 360, PS3 and PC.
