Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare will have zombies. Sledgehammer games chief development officer Michael Condrey confirmed the news on Instagram in the most succinct way possible.
As we reported just yesterday, a recent outing of the game’s achievements list revealed picture previews for each achievement. One image stood out for very clearly revealing zombies.
In his Instagram post, Condrey shared the exact same picture, captioned ‘Oh my!!! Confirmed.’
Condrey did not engage fans further, some of whom expressed concern that zombies might be part of the main game. However, based on how Call of Dutypreviously used zombies only for standalone DLC, and how the achievement leaking zombies is phrased, it is more likely that this is not part of the main game.
Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare will be released on November 3 on Windows, PlayStation 3, PlayStation 4, Xbox 360, and Xbox One.
