Borderlands: The Pre-Sequel ‘Nova? No Problem!’ Mission Guide

October 17, 2014 by Ian Miles Cheong

This guide will help you solve the mission ‘Nova? No Problem!’ in Borderlands: The Pre-Sequel.

There's an early quest in Borderlands: The Pre-Sequel that's kind of a headscratcher due to the way its objective is placed on the minimap. The mission is titled "Nova? No Problem!" and has Janey Springs sending you out on a quest to retrieve her password from a locked safe out in a Scav base in Regolith Range.

The problem arises when you reach there, and there's no indication as to what you need to do besides 'disable the cameras' with your Nova Shield. The first time around, I didn't see any cameras, much less a safe that I needed to open.

Some digging around the ground floor on the side of the base should yield a lever/switch that you can pull that opens up the area you are supposed to go to.

Once you're inside, you'll be swarmed by Scavs who will attempt to kill you. Do not shoot them. Provided you have the Nova Shield Springs gave you equipped, simply allow the Scavs to attack you until your shield depletes while standing in the middle of all the cameras. If you position yourself correctly, you'll be able to disable all of the cameras at once and open the safe.

There's a video by Auluftwaffles you can watch below for directions.
